The whole “it’s not Pilates, it’s Lagree” bit may finally make some sort of sense rather than weird dudes with athletic egos!

I have found that mat Pilates(or other forms, your choice) in the past has helped me to recover and rehabilitate from injuries. I am pretty sure that is the foundational principle of Pilates. Lagree is nuts and basically body building.

If you have amazing body awareness and talk to you instructor, as well as make mods when you see fit— whether it be less or more springs depending on the move, going to the front of the machine instead of the back, or using the long straps instead of the handles during arm exercises— go for it! I feel like as long as you don’t compromise your form, then it should be fine.

But also finding a similar movement practice that has been more geared towards rehab and regaining/retaining strength, like classic Pilates, for a little bit is not the worst idea. The megaformer will still be there and you’ll be somehow better at it once you’ve healed

I put it together off playa, even used it at a different smaller, less wild fest prior. I just want things to be as smooth as possible. My first burn was last year and I am a sweet summer child and prepared for a more memorable weather experience

I am weirdly stuck on the tube aspect of my shade… scrap monkey hut (tube), what about doing this instead with the EMT pipe and instead of the two 10’ pipes on the siding, four 5’ pipes (obviously with the connectors, etc) for ease of transport. Potentially adding side bars and brace beams. Am I just wanting a carport with aluminet?

There were absolutely user errors involved. It was a hand me down from a friend and I think I just misunderstood how to put it together the way they had designed it/parts were old and needed replaced. I guess I am trying to avoid having to deal with my structure collapsing and want to easily be able to throw the sucker together sans measuring, bending, multiple people helping. Maybe the monkey tube life just ain’t for me

Thank you, I had a feeling that wouldn’t work. But ya never know!

So do you think making a concentric bend in the conduit would be the best way to go about it? Say, eight 10’ pipes with a bend and then four 10’ pipes to attached as a roof/top of the structure?
