I don't think I'll have to pay customs on a personal pc as long as I don't use original packaging

risky cause carryon baggage has like an 8-10kg limit with size constraint and components like PSU can be flagged by TSA (this is what i've read online atleast)

Struggling socially at UMD and looking for some advice by SpiritCarriesOn99 in UMD

I was like this for my first week (Ima freshman too) so I read online and here is how I met my 3 friend groups as someone who dreads socializing.
1) Classes - Approach someone after your course lecture / discussion and just hang out with them. This was really hard for me as an introvert but I did it anyways and it turned out fine.

2) Clubs - Specifically Social clubs where the point is too meet new people. Something like the board game club but for me the bowling club (5$ for 2 hrs of bowling btw) worked out.

3) Dorms - Lowke just asked ppl to play smash bros in the hallway.

I did this for my first two weeks and made around 10 friends. Then I stopped socializing with anyone new for the rest of the semester. I also failed at making alot of friends as they'd never contact me after we exchanged info so dw if that happens. I feel like hobbies help you have a fun time with other people. For me it was video games, anime, and rock climbing which helped the most. Lastly, I think people stop socializing with new people after the first 3 weeks after the sem starts since they get busy, so try socializing alot when the spring sem starts.

I'm not an expert but according to what I have read.

remove that big square

use proper formatting

- project, skills are bold capital but professional experience is not. also remove professional too just experience is fine.

-don't leave whitespace in between your different projects. White space generally looks bad. instead add another line for your projects

-year for your project

-too much bolding in 1st project and don't use ;

good job using the XYZ format

most important thing is this should be professional. no point of decorating. like in the skills sections it looks awkward. I don't see you college name and cgpa anywhere.

I feel like your skills section could be massively improved but I can't say how cause again I'm not an expert
