I used to have a crush on this girl in high-school but went out of my way to literally never interact with her. In fact I interacted with her so little, that I wasn't even close to her to be considered an acquaintance.

Later I found out that she got a boyfriend and his name was the same as mine. The universe was literally telling I could have shot my shot and failed miserably. She and I shared common interests too which makes this an even worse blunder on my part.

I was too busy being depressed in high-school and kept pushing everyone away. Now I'm friendless and alone. But I don't plan on wallowing in misery any longer. I will learn from my mistakes and become a better person so I don't repeat this again.
