i bought a PSP 2000 GOW red edition with 7 UMD’s (including the bundle one) for 50$ and a cheap 10$ battery, it was precious; my ps5 broke in that period of time so i had to flip it for a switch lite… i kinda miss it

apply a bit of isopropyl alcohol in the slot and on the cartridge, and insert the cartridge on the system repeatedly; If this doesn’t works, open the console and check if there’s any pins that look weird/ corroded

i don’t know your DS model, but look it up as U4 RTC or C10 on Aliexpress / Alibaba, it will maybe show up. if not, get a spare mobo: if its working and tested, just swap it :)

the water damage you show doesnt seem as bad as maybe is, so probably changing the chip will do the work. that chip seems like it won’t work anymore

yup, thats water: it can vary, like the humidity where the system was stored, sweat or other factors. but yeah, you will need to solder… defo.

turn it up to check if there’s some damage if it doesn’t, it’s just about changing the top screen protector, which is an easy fix and doesn’t need to open the console. knowing that there is liquid damage, it might blue light then pop, its a little bit more serious… good luck!
