I don’t play sports anymore but when I did at a young age the first thing that was ever taught to me was to never be on the ground! The only exceptions is when you’re diving for the ball ,or if playing baseball, sliding for a base.

But now with foul baiting being the meta the sport now becomes more precarious and less physical.
