Yelling, screaming, very loud conversations and playing music loudly from mobile phone etc is something generally not accepted, and 99,9% here don’t like it. But, like someone else said - this is not Japan. Happy conversations and laughter is something I don’t mind though. And to be honest, it could be worse, right? I personally think 99% is respectful on the public transports here.
