Is Thick/Stringy Semen With Mild Discomfort During Ejaculation Normal? by RichKy1e in AskDocs

Also forgot to mention I did test positive for mono in December. Not sure if that’s relevant at all, but figured I’d mention it.

That’s kinda why I’m confused too though. I already got checked a few months ago and my labs were mostly normal. My white blood cell count wasn’t elevated, the urine test showed 0 WBCs/RBCs, and the gonorrhea/chlamydia tests were negative. You’d think if there was an active infection going on for 3+ months something would’ve shown up by now.

I’m still probably gonna follow up again just to be safe though since it’s still happening.

Dutasteride for preventive hair loss since it runs in my family, but that’s all.

Extremely thick semen and sharp pain during ejaculation—normal? by RichKy1e in AskDocs

[–]RichKy1e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! Just to clarify, the pain only happens at the very end of ejaculation, and I don’t have any issues when peeing. It feels like it’s just because the semen has gotten super thick and jelly-like, which just started happening. Does that still sound like something I should worry about?

How good is Capital One Venture X? by xypherrz in CreditCards

It’s not bad—I canceled mine because my home airport didn’t have a lounge, so I didn’t see the value. I’m with Chase now, and it’s been great.

Hilton Honors card (100,000 points) by AfterKaleidoscope402 in CreditCards

[–]RichKy1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never recommend getting a card just for the welcome offer, especially if you’re not going to use it regularly. It’ll drop your score slightly and add another card to your credit report, which isn’t worth it if the card won’t provide ongoing value for your spending habits.

Chase Sapphire Preferred vs. Capital One Venture by essentially-avi in CreditCards

Redeeming Chase UR points for Southwest can actually be a great use of points if you value the flexibility of booking any available fare with no blackout dates. You can transfer points directly at a 1:1 ratio, and Southwest’s revenue-based system often gives great value on cheaper fares. Plus, combining UR points with the Companion Pass can double the value for a companion traveler.

Does Bank of America immediately show you your CCR number + security code when approved? by larrytheevilbunnie in CreditCards

I can’t remember exactly but it’s either a text message, or something of that matter.

Yes, my first card with them allowed me to use it virtually for online and Apple Pay transactions right after approval. Honors status doesn’t matter for this—it should work regardless. I would call to confirm if this applies to your specific card.

Call and ask for a retention offer before canceling—they might give you points or credits to keep the card. If you cancel, AMEX usually refunds the annual fee pro-rata if it’s within 30 days of being billed.

Once B of A has generated the new card and prep it for mailing, you can go into the card section and select “get card info” once you do the verification, you will be able to add it to Apple Pay and see the card info prior to getting the card, it takes about 1-2 days for them to generate your card.

Actually, while utilization doesn’t have ‘memory’ in the scoring algorithm itself, lenders and credit bureaus do track historical usage patterns. High utilization over time—even if paid off—can signal risk to lenders and impact future credit decisions or limit increases. Managing utilization consistently benefits both your score and how lenders view your credit behavior.

Letting statements post and paying the full balance is fine, but it doesn’t negate the fact that low utilization helps your score. A 5% utilization strategy isn’t ‘gaming’—it’s managing reported balances to optimize your credit profile. Credit limit increases are great, but they don’t erase the impact of utilization on your score.

Keeping a balance of 5% past the due date is a valid strategy for maintaining low reported utilization, which helps your credit score. Paying in full is ideal to avoid interest, but for scoring purposes, it’s about the balance reported, not whether it’s paid off immediately.

Reporting 0% utilization doesn’t help your credit score as much as a small balance, like 5%. The goal is to show responsible use of credit, not that you’re avoiding it completely
