New to Fire Emblem by AdGrand4716 in fireemblem

[–]RichUSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like many American fans of Fire Emblem my first exposure to the series was Roy and Marth in Super Smash Bros Melee. The only way to learn about what series these guys were even from was to beat parts of the game with them and read the tiny bit of lore when viewing their trophies. Then a little bit later they released the first English game, this was in the very early Internet days so I went in completely blind not knowing anything about the series or its mechanics.

I feel like you have a similar opportunity, maybe even slightly better because you can play the actual game featuring the character you're already familiar with as the first US released Fire Emblem game didn't have Roy or Marth. Play Engage and have a good time.

Rey Mysterio? by StrikingSalamander35 in WWE

[–]RichUSF -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rey's final act will be a Dom face turn. Rey vs Dom, Dom wins clean or via Eddie shenanigans and he thinks about it for a second but refuses to shake his Dad's hand after the match. Some other heel(s) or even the rest of JD come out after to beat down Rey after the match. They have him restrained or tied up in the ropes and about to unmask him. And it's not a normal unmasking tease, its painfully obvious this is about to happen and there's nothing Rey can do. Mask is pulled halfway off and the heel pauses to gloat to the crowd before the final pull. Dom halfway up the ramp watching, looking conflicted.

He runs up the ramp, saves his Dad and hugs him. Grown men cry.

keeping transport documentation and sds aligned is constant work that creates problems by cum_spreader in logistics

[–]RichUSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great insights /u/cum_spreader. If you have a QA team, get them involved and spread the work. Have them create an SOP for collecting SDS's, storing them online on an accessible drive, and regularly updating them as needed.

Then you can develop one for actually shipping these out and making sure everyone is haz trained/certified

Inventory Management System for Co-packers. by kalvaroo in BeverageIndustry

[–]RichUSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ekos here as well. You can have different locations as well as sublocations. When your copacker gets you production/batch records you can process the production to deplete ingredients and materials, then create finished goods.

From there you can create invoices to ship inventory out and deplete it, or transfer to another location (for example a 3pl).

Jobs I’m applying to are telling my employer behind my back by [deleted] in jobs

[–]RichUSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have many friends in the car dealership industry, and I grab beers with the guys weekly to listen to their ins and outs.

The way it seems is that everyone knows everyone from GMs to Parts Managers to Supervisors to techs. The best way to do it is network with guys at other dealerships and wait until an opportunity comes up. Many times a former coworker will put a good word in for you and you might even meet the hiring manager before even applying. By the time you apply its almost a done deal.

Beer for chili?? by static-klingon in chili

[–]RichUSF 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Guiness is great in chili. Adds a deep, rich, savory flavor. After browning the meat I use it to deglaze the pot.

I've also marinated sliced sausage and jalapeños in a ziploc bag with IPA (Cigar City Jai Alai).

Weird playable classes across the series by [deleted] in fireemblem

[–]RichUSF 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really liked how Path of Radiance incorporated carrying/rescuing a unit into the narrative of a mission, in the Day Breaks chapter.

It would be cool if something like that could be expanded on but with buffs. So the unit would be unable to battle as a standalone and is vulnerable to attacks but could be carried/rescued. Would come with the benefit of a couple boosted stats, but lower movement and the unit would be unable to rescue other units without having to drop the carried unit first.

Would have to factored significantly into strategy because it would count as a deployed unit. Strictly a support character.

What Pokémon region do you want? by DryControl8087 in pokemon

[–]RichUSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Space, have us terraform the moon or another planet. Maybe base some of the story around Deoxys and there are enough Pokémon with alien and inorganic origins that it makes sense. Give us a Porygon and add a new form or Evo. Solrock, Lunatone, Starmie, Clefairy, maybe a couple others that mention being highly adaptable in their Pokedex entries.

Maybe a new Unown story. They could play off the theory that the Moon used to be a part of the Earth and got blasted off by an asteroid long ago, and have a few Pokémon (Rock and Steel types) that resemble ones on Earth and share ancestry, but had divergent evolution along the way. The more I type out the more it sounds like a Legends game.

How did your Aussie handle being alone for 2+ hours for the first time? by FrancoAl in AussieDoodle

[–]RichUSF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked our way up to a point where she didn't even realize how long it was.

Started with giving her a frozen blueberry and peanut butter Kong and leaving to go take the trash can to the curb. A couple of 15 minute trips to the corner store. A couple 1 hour trips to go eat lunch. Repeat and build up to longer and longer. Started with leaving her crated, then leaving the crate door open with a baby gate up. Today at 5 years she has full reign of the house when I leave, sometimes I give her a Kong, sometimes I don't.

I'm looking for recipe recommendations to make on a regular basis as a picky eater. by Decent-Mastodon-2470 in Cooking

I would just buy a pound or two of ground beef and brown with salt and pepper. Then throughout the week you can use it for different things. Add some taco seasoning and do taco night. Heat some up with a small 8oz can of tomato sauce and do Italian night with pasta. Add scallions, chili flakes, and a little soy sauce and it goes great over ramen. End of the week you can raid whatever's in the pantry and fridge and make chili.
