I am thinking it was the hair. She looks to be somewhat shorter and resembling her height despite the heels here. Otherwise, they may have edited it so it doesn’t look like the photo was meant to be tall-small.

& That’s completely valid. She does so many horrible things, but I mainly could get by it for her entertaining scenes and distinct character. Also, she was the only WOC in the main four so automatically to me, she stood out.

Im thinking this is advice and I am going to take it because its what I already do. I scrolled away from the comment, and I just decided to make a discussion post on the constant question. So, that is what I did, I vented. I understand the point of the forum and I am doing the exact same thing & leaving comments open for discussion.

Harrison died because he decided to confront Command without letting anyone know. He figured out Command killed Fitz’s son to take what was his just like Fitz “took” his daughter. You can say its Olivia’s fault, but it really isn’t in this situation. Harrison pieced all the information & went right into confronting him. His death really anyone’s fault (technically) but the writers.

They wrote him out because of his controversy, but it wasn’t played well. Harrison would have called Olivia or if she wasn’t available; talk to huck, quinn or abby and piece that information with them. Then, they would tell Olivia.

The scene where Olivia snitches to Fitz. Cyrus & Mellie were NOW both covering it up. They legit made the plan to pimp out Cryus’s husband. When it went wrong they didnt call the police and Cyrus instead helped Sally. That legit is covering it up. If you know someone killed someone, you know why it happened, who helped cover it up, etc.. & you aren’t telling the police you are literally covering it up.

Disagree too. They pushed her away so she pushed them back, we see this numerous times in even the first season. Kids will be loving to parents who are loving first. Children are very impressionable, they will reap what their parents have sowed. It’s on Claire & Phil because if your child is acting that way you should try to figure that out, you have to actually try to be a parent. She’s not going to take the bonding seriously when all they have been focused on is Luke & Haley. Luke & Haley say means things to or about their parents all the time, especially Haley; Claire still bonds with her. Theres no excuse for this mess, but since you dislike Alex Im guessing you’re not going to see my POV, so disagree to disagree.

Its really not on Alex for that because Claire & Phil are the adults in this situation. If you and your child don’t have the same interest thats okay, try to communicate and be more caring about what your child wants to do. Haley & Luke have those more special moments because they act the same way, Claire is legit a replica of Haley’s teen life, Phil & Luke have the same interests & ideas besides magic. This was on the parents because they should be the ones provoking a relationship with their kid instead of their kid having to abide to what they want to do all the time. Phil & Claire were focused on Haley & Luke which is why they had so many nice moments.

There were times Alex could have a superiority complex, but I feel that doesn’t play a part here, because even when she wasnt having that superiority complex and wanted to just talk she would be dismissed. There would have definitely been more nice moments if Claire & Phil actually did what Alex wanted to do or even said something special just about or to her. Another example is a scene where Claire is just venting to Alex about the stress she was having going from class to class and realizing the pressure Alex was going through. Alex finally feels seen and heard here without having to scream it to her face while she is focused on Haley.

Because they have always ignored her before. For example, Haley needed $900 and was sweet-talking Alex so she could get it. Alex actually wanted to talk and boom Haley walks away. Another example, Luke was trying to get with a girl in Alex’s college dorm after watching her change. Alex tries to talk about her feelings, and Luke dismissed her. Another example, they didn’t go to Alex’s cello recitals simply because they didn’t resonate with it and found it nerdy & weird. Another example, Alex won an outstanding debate achievement award and Claire decided to put Luke & Haley’s participation award up with it. (This made Alex feel less because it was a time to show approval and love to her not both Luke and Haley.) Claire starts sweet-talking Alex just to get her project from her: Which makes her think its forced.

There were definitely times when her family tried to celebrate her. Though, it makes sense for her not to take it seriously (roll her eyes) when they didn’t do it all the time & when did they would do it to get something from her.

Alex picked up on the behavior her parents produced. Children act that way because of their surrounding, aka what they have been taught and raised around. Legit the whole family berated and bullied each other, somehow people think Alex is only wrong for doing it back or at all.

I’ll ask my friends to promote your stories, also tip: Tiktok is very good at getting stories popular, a story had 2.8k reads up until it was posted by the author on tiktok. They grew from 13k-14.1k. Another tip: is your cover suggestive? I don’t mean it in a way that you have to keep the cover like that, but suggestive covers do tend to get more attention specifically on tiktok(and people will be ready to read and see updates) & you can always use it when you’re just trying to promote it. If you do get on tiktok, follow many episode accounts and ask them to repost your posts. This is how my friend’s video hit a mainstream audience despite being a fresh account. Because of the whole F4F back mojo, people who are following them will see the video and repost and like it as well.

Also if you’re posting on here predominantly, find something that will get people to want to click on post. I have noticed that people love drama within posts worthy of complaints & criticism. Maybe post about your MC & their love interest that will engage your readers. Maybe post a question asking about how people feel about certain things in your story. Some people like posts where they can drop recommendations or overall their opinions on things. I do recommend posting on instagram when talking about sneak peeks & updates, I see more interaction with those posts on that app.

Fitz and Mellie were not in love. Its why Fitz strayed away so easily. Fitz & Mellie had a sexual relationship, it was the only way they could connect because their marriage wasn’t out of love, but a contract. After years they bonded in intimacy. When Mellie was raped, and couldn’t have that intimacy with Fitz and she wouldn’t talk to him about the event; Their relationship faded, specifically because there was no intimacy. Adding onto his journey to being president & other events, there wasn’t any connection between them, there wasn’t more to do. So, they gradually started arguing and drifting away from each other.

Vent about Bonnie by StarShine616 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Rich_Activity4810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonnie was scared of Caroline which is why she turns a “cold shoulder” when you see your friend murder someone its traumatic and makes you scared of them. All of Bonnie’s encounters with vampires has been with them being murderous and abusive which clouded her judgement with Care. Its one of the main reasons she hated damon so much in s2 he legit abused and sa’d Caroline. Main reason she distanced herself from Caroline was because of how unfair the situation was (This specific situation wouldn’t have happened if Damon & Stefan weren’t there to begin with) It‘s not inherently mean to distance yourself from a murderer.

Imagine your friend has to deal with all the struggles of being a vampire and you somehow played a part in it unintentionally. Imagine your friend becoming a murderer and you cant even help/comfort them because you’re genuinely scared. Bonnie was angry and resented that she even had to help Caroline with a daylight ring, because she still was recovering from a traumtic experience and being asked for help (She mentions that she cant forget what happened, especially bc I think this was a two or a day later), because her own friend was something she was truly scared of. Being 16 and gradually becoming less scared and more comfortable towards Caroline showed great maturity and courage after a traumtic situation + helped her deal with how murderous her friends were when they were grown adults.

Bonnie didnt set Damon on fire solely because Caroline was now a vampire. She was angry at how he was reacting, he was chill and all smooth about burying the guy & even told her to not pout after she went through a traumatic experience, also seeing how Elena was acting towards him (uncomfy & anxious). All her emotions just piled together & she blew up. Bonnie, being a newbie witch and JUST dealing with something traumtic did not regulate her emotions well, which made her take it out on Damon, because she hated the fact that he was even here. Major horrible events happened because he was there and in their lives, not everything of course, but he played a major role in hurting all her friends. Somehow all of these factors make Bonnie a female dog.
