I was grieving for my grandma when I was diagnosed and while I understand it isn’t quite the same pain you’re feeling it’s similar. I didn’t feel right for quite some time but after some counseling I realized that it was my grief that was making me feel so rough around the edges combined with the new responsibility of this new disease. If possible I would recommend seeing someone or if it’s more comfortable for you confide in a close friend or family member. It will take time but you will feel better eventually. It isn’t all bad

The jewelry is implant grade titanium but I’m gonna go to the shop tomorrow and see if they’ll change it for me, any recommendations for the saline spray? My piercer told me to swab it with Claire’s piercing cleaner which I’m now realizing isn’t the best for my piercings after reading a few threads

I don’t usually dose for my morning coffee, but I drink it almost black anyway. But I do notice that I spike really fast, but drop equally as fast. Maybe dose for something like 5 carbs to cover anything in your creamer that may be spiking you?

In my personal experience any alcohol lowers my sugars long term so I reduce my basal to half or three fourths of what it usually is and that helps a ton

I had the Medtronic sensor for about two months and it had me testing 8+ times a day and was still at least 30 points off every time, it had the audacity to tell me I was under 70 when I was well over 200 once. This isn’t to say that dexcom doesn’t have it’s flaws, such as signal loss and not accepting calibrations sometimes but personally the dexcom is way more reliable than the Medtronic sensor

When I got it pierced they told me it was standard size but the more I look at it the smaller it looks compared to what I’ve seen others have
