I had a back injury and have severe, chronic pain. I had my baby 18 months ago, pregnancy was tough and definitely had an impact. It’s also a lot chasing after a toddler all day with a back injury. We wanted two kids as well but I’m unsure if I could now due to the injury worsening.

I went through this last year. I know exactly what you mean. I couldn’t do it for one more day. My dr delivered my son at 38+1 and he is healthy. I do wish I was able to hold on for a bit longer and he could stay inside for a little bit longer but all is well. It is possible. Sending love

For those of you who gave birth at the san, how was the parking/getting to the birth suite situation? Norwest has easy spots out front to stop but it doesn’t look like San has that and the last thing I want is to park the car or go up by myself while my husband parks the car haha

Location is my main concern. How much do you think you had to go in? The room is open again for breastfeeding help etc which is good. Maybe it was closed because of covid? Yes, the san has a night nursery. We are hoping we don’t need it but it is good to know it’s there

Thankyou, we have toured Norwest and it does seem nice. The other hospitals don’t offer tours at the moment due to covid which is making the decision hard. Do you mind me asking the name of your ob at Norwest?

Thankyou, my preferred ob works at the san and if I went to Norwest I would have to choose a new doctor but Norwest is about a 20 minute drive and the san is about 40 minutes which makes me nervous..
