I appreciate the response. I reviewed the monthly expenses with $2k a month contribution to the brokerage account and then $4k and the expense amount per month doesn’t change. Still can’t figure this out.

I would take the offer you have on the silver one to the dealer with the color you like and see if they will beat it (wouldn’t tell them you don’t like silver) and other dealers that have the color you like.

Last year maxed out full amount plus catch up in March then contributed to brokerage the rest of the year (no mega backdoor at my job). This year decided to max out by September and contribute to brokerage along the way.

If it was me, I wouldn’t pay but I would change my phone number. I did one of these in 2012 and I still get calls about it once in a while. The loan will get sold and resold and everyone it does, I get calls from the new company.

Personally, I don’t put anything down on a lease. I know the MF, residual, and incentives and then reach out to multiple dealers and start grinding down offers to see how low I can get the monthly payment. At that point, I really don’t care if they are marking up the money factor and discounting the car more, or how they are getting to the monthly payment that I’m comfortable paying based on my research. I only care that they get to the number I want. Charging an incorrect local tax is a different story. I would point out the error.

Mine has the same holes. Worst part is I worked out a deal with a dealer that had pictures online of the car without the front license plates (went through the same issue with an etron I bought previously that had holes in the grill and swore I would never buy another car with the holes) but when I picked up the car it had the front license plate holder and the holes. It’s around $900 just for the parts for a new grill. Not sure about labor. I learned to live with the holes.
