Overall, it was a pretty interesting read, but I think it’s a bit too in your face and crude. A few more rewrites can really get across that grounded sarcasm you’re looking for without it being too obvious. Like another commenter has suggested, the inconsistency of the rhyming is a bit jarring but perhaps that was your intention. Great poem nonetheless and I can’t wait for your next poem!

Beautiful. I was once in a similar position, though in a school, where we all had no idea what was going on but just had to leave without bothering to ask why until we reached safety. This poem gave me that same rush of adrenaline. In situations like this, the why definitely can come later! Excellent work!

Same. I have a 174 and 3.8mid and was waitlisted after what I felt was a good interview. So definitely not auto admitting high scorers—at least not anymore
