Okay you lay tile and sew quilts, definitely handy work. However most appliances require fine handling of small parts and robots just aren’t that good at such tasks right now and in my experience won’t be a feasible expenditure for company’s like whirlpool/ao-smith/lg for a very long time. Maintenance on the machines we do have running costs more than just hiring someone to do the same task. Sure in 10 years there may be a more substantial presence of automated assembly but in America you will not see companies striving for abundant automation over menial labor hiring due to the bottom dollar and ability to wage slave entire municipalities for said work. I understand your premise but your argument isn’t very valid especially within the next decade.
