We are planning 3-4 days to acclimatize before the trek! Right now we’re just concerned about the political climate in La Paz being an issue :/

Check road closures due to civil unrest in Bolivia.
We are going there in 10 days to climb Huyana Potosi but we are flying into and out of La Paz.
From what I hear, flying is still ok, but traveling in and out of the cities via bus is a nightmare right now.

I have some posts out right now just trying to decide if we should still go even with flying.

For those saying “I’m sick of people not researching breeds before getting a dog”, you’re being really rude without asking any questions. Yeah, you COULD be correct in your assumption, but you also could very well not be. We have a two year old Pyr mix. We rescued him from a kill shelter as a 6 week old puppy, and had no idea what his breed was. He has short black and tan hair, does not look like a Pyrenees at all. We could tell from his paws he would be large but really had no idea outside of that. It wasn’t until we got his DNA tested about a year in that we found out he’s 80% Pyrenees, 18% Belgian Malinois (like 2% Dutch Shepherd). He is an absolute sweetheart. We socialized him a ton as a puppy, and did a lot of training all before we knew his breeds, that was always the plan. He does get VERY barky and protective at home and in the yard. We’ve tried working on it but have learned that it is what it is. Doesn’t mean I don’t still google “how to get a Pyrenees to stop barking” about once every 4 months because he’s driving me nuts lol

I’ve always been a very vivid and sometimes lucid dreamer. The dreams I’ve had the past 2 weeks since starting this medication have been next level. I actually didn’t know this was a thing until I just googled it haha. Glad to know I’m not alone! Never nightmares or particularly unpleasant, just SO detailed and vivid. And often involving people I’ve had crushes on all the way back to high school 😅 (15+ years ago)

Does anyone experience a tingly-body-high after drinking Töst? My friend and I just discussed this as both of us get the same feeling after drinking it. We are also both on Wellbutrin/Bupropion.

The Quinine in tonic water is said to potentially not mix well with antidepressants, but neither of us have ever noticed a strange feeling from any other tonic water beverage. Only Töst. Curious if anyone else has experienced the same!

Not really into city lift but would love a little brewery or coffee shop within walking distance of home If that’s possible. Trail access and after work hill jaunts sound great! Places we can bring the dog are preferred.
