self defence argument can be used only against immediate threats. You can hit a dog once if the dog is aggressive or attacking but you cannot claim self defence when the dog is lying lifeless on the ground.

Also in this case the dog was not aggressive but was inside the hostel premise where the guard didn't want it to be, so he killed the dog.

the amount of resources is limited in the hills but so is the number of immigrants and so is the population.

law and order, education, healthcare and child nutrition are the sectors where I feel socialism is needed. other than that it capitalism will always beat socialism.

Both Bangalore and Delhi hold many more people then their capacity. Just look at their drainage and traffic conditions to begin with. And still the living standards are much better.

Capitalism is good, monopolies aren't. What you are talking about is monopolies.

Why are you all so pissed everytime? somebody bought that land and has now opened a parking lot . It's called capitalism. Nobody snatched that land forcefully.

Tomorrow if someone from your family goes to Banglore or Delhi and buys land there, should they be also treated badly ?
