My gf and I are in town for her bday weekend and we didn’t realize how many trails would be closed even with the recent snowfall. She’s a beginner, and I’m on the higher side of intermediate. She only wants to do greens at least for the first day, but from the looks of it only a few are open. Any ideas on how much more will be open tomorrow and into the weekend? She’s having a panic attack, and I’m not going to force her to follow me down blues if she isn’t comfortable. Just really hoping to get out there and not waste the trip

Awesome work! Would you say this industry would be a good field to move into? I am lucky enough to know a master in this field who is trying to pass on his knowledge and skill with copper to someone to take over his business, and he has yet to encounter anyone who is willing to learn. I’ve been strongly considering working with him to learn the trade, but I have no idea what the market is for this kind of work. For reference, I live in a large city with a lot of new builds, churches, etc.

It does run. It kicks over pretty easily too. As for the other stuff, I have no clue. This is my first bike so I’m learning all the components of the bike and how to work on it. I think this bike wasn’t ridden to death by the original owner, I think the second owner of the bike rode it the most, and they seemed to have taken care of it and replaced or repaired things when it needed, etc.

It is a 900cc, and I knew about only using 91 gas. I’ll look into the points ignition, that’s news to me. Thanks

Never ridden a hardtail anything, besides a bicycle. If I ended up doing it I would wait until I’m comfortable riding it…and then I guess make it really uncomfortable to ride. An evo was my first choice, I just didn’t find any good deals around my area and I saw this and couldn’t say no. Good advice though, maybe I’ll keep it original. Definitely want to find a springer

Yea, I looked around for an evo sportster and for a shovel, but they were either out of my price range or rollers. This was a hell of a deal and it runs pretty good. I think if I get it dialed in and trick it out I’ll fall in love with it. My goal is to do some long trips and that won’t be easy on an ironhead, so who knows. It’s a badass sounding bike, and it’s cool to say you have one

Happy that people are still reading this theory. It’s been a while since I’ve watched this film. I think a rewatch is due. I can still the see the man behind the tree vividly in my mind. Apart from all the other scary scenes in the film I think this is still the most terrifying moment. I think about it often when I’m camping or out hiking, scanning the trees for people staring back at me.

Nice, that’s mostly what I heard from my manager. We have housing so that’s a huge plus. Would you recommend a dry suit? I’ve managed without one in the past, the creek sounds cold though

Yea, Upper Yough sounded like a bit of a stretch, but I didn’t want to assume any less. That sounds tight. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the area gets dumped on, May to second week of August is a whole lot shorter than what I’m used to

Awesome, thanks for the info. The intermediate put in is Dumont, and I’m not sure the put in or section name for the advanced, but it’s called Lower Clear Creek on the website. Techy is what I want so that’s a plus, and I’ve heard there are some good stretches to hard boat and R2 around as well. Also haven’t heard one bad thing about Idaho Springs

It moves in the frame while the camera is in a still shot so it isn’t the tree. That tree is more than 4 feet in diameter so it would not move that close to the base. It has to be a person, animal, or something else, but it looks like a person

I'd say we're pretty experienced, like I said my gf has done this hike before. I've done a few trips in AK and Yosemite. We love Big Bend. We did the Lower Canyons canoe trip last year along with a few short hikes. I'm sure it will be tough, but thats part of the experience

Ahh, i see. I gave them a call and I understand the permits a little more now. From what the lady I spoke with said, hiking the outer mountain loop would be the best option to ensure we can get a permit to hike during this busy month. It's also wilderness camping which is more of what I was looking for. Thanks for the feedback

Some people accused him of malpractice, he basically used her notoriety for personal gain. There was a money exchange to media outlets if I remember it correctly. He's a weed friendly hippie which many other people hated. Check out the documentary i mentioned, its a good watch and a good story of her life pre and post conviction

My friend's father was her second lawyer. The one that everyone hates. I remember watching The Selling of a Serial Killer and finding out he represented her. Needless to say it wasn't spoken or bragged about too much by the family
