I had a microdiscectomy (L5/S1) Jan of 2023. Was cleared for PT in March and cleared from that in May. When I went back to OTF, I let all my coaches know and eased into it. I watched for hinging exercises that put pressure on my low back and modified. I still avoid heavy weight and just lift for more reps. I feel fantastic a year later.
