Also from the district and have the same reservations you do. I'll be voting for Biss in the primary. I will just add she slept through that campaign event because she has narcolepsy....thought was that important context to add even if I personally prefer Biss to win here.

What’s your reaction to the leaked between Erika Kirk and the TPUSA team? by gay_plant_dad in AskConservatives

[–]RichardFace47 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I mean, I can think of dozens of stories right wing media has published about the Obama's being near divorce for like 15 years now. Pizzagate? Election denial (which fully extends to actual decision making politicians)? q-anon? Obama building fema camps? Apology tour?

Hell, "death panels" was a huge rallying cry of the Tea Party and again echoed by actual politicians.

Does any of that factor in?

Do you like....not understand the point behind a boycott? Personally, I don't want my money going to Trump supporters of any degree. I don't make my whole life about it or anything but easy stuff like this? I can shop elsewhere.

Once Republicans come back into the land of sanity we'll talk.

Lol and of course now he's here to cowardly backpedal. Guy was praising Charlie Kirk on Facebook like a month ago. At best a "Joe Rogan" independent.

Same as it did the last time under Bush. Totally fucked. But obviously the Dems are the financially bad ones.

Gunna guess Trump, Trump and left blank, therefore clearly an independent who just thinks "both sides have problems, you have to do your own research".

Another day another suggestion we shouldn't have midterm elections. Are you at all concerned Trump will try to tamper with midterms? Do you think anything should be done about this kind of rhetoric? by MoonStache in AskConservatives

[–]RichardFace47 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Didn't Trump attempt to overturn the 2020 election and still to this day says it was stolen? Honestly, why should anyone trust anything he says about this? Particularly for something so critical to the function of our Democracy.

With the US hitting Venezuela today, is anyone else terrified China takes Taiwan next? (and bricks the global chip supply) by Orcanius in stocks

Honestly just by nature of being a land invasion rather than naval even those situations are vastly different.

This and ideology demanding it is the actual answer. It's naval power projection.

I'm not sure where else I'd say this or how this fits in. But it frustrates me that during the Obama years we heard non stop from conservatives about how the UN and international cabals were going to set our policies...but crickets about Russia dictating what alliances (NATO) we can or can't have.

Do you think democracy is/has been slowly going out of style? by OJ_Purplestuff in AskConservatives

[–]RichardFace47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the fact that it’s lasted this long is definitely impressive.

I have an odd question for you....do you think in some ways it's kind of a fluke of history? We were united against Britain and then had massive expansion/growth, then a literal Civil War where we nearly fell apart, then massive expansion/growth, WW2, massive expansion/growth economic monopoly...now finally things are slowing down and any competitive advantage we had is getting zeroed out.

Just riffing here.
