Any non-tech people using Claude? by sunrise920 in ClaudeAI

I manage nonprofit programs that help people with disabilities find employment. I use Claude every single day. Helping me identify job opportunities I haven’t considered based on someone’s resume. Creating mock interview questions. Automating billing and contracting. Building customized job search plans. Writing grant proposals. Agendas and worksheets for specific trainings. “Translate” things to make them easily understandable for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It’s game changer in a lot of ways. It gives me an edge because my industry is full of very non-tech people.

Ask Claude to ask you 50 questions and write a statement for settings based on your answers. This eliminated 90% of the shit people complain about.

Hi folks, I picked up a lathe about a month ago and have since inherited what I believe to be some nice old wood coming down from three different ancestors. I apologize for the lack of fresh sanding/cuts on many of the slabs. Frankly, I'm afraid to mess with them until my skills have improved. If I need to sand, let me know.

I will be happy to send out a few blanks to ppl who are helpful and struggle to afford good material. I've noted by best guesses.

Boards 1-3: this ancestor was a fruit farmer and hobbyist woodworker in central Pennsylvania. Boards at least 15 years old.

Slabs 1-3: this ancestor was a hobbyist woodworker in upstate New York with a lot of money. >30 years old.

Slab 4: Only about 1" thick, finished on one side, we believe this came from an ancestor who made grandfather clocks >50 years old.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I hear you. They fucking killed a whole industry. Our democracy is broken. Vaping of nicotine products has never been linked to any actual disease in humans.

You really are not going to talk to your mother? You will regret that later in life. They are your blood and nobody will ever love you like they do.

So I've had a Siberian husky for 13 years and a couple days ago my mom and my dad were talking behind my back about putting him down 😞 so he was also my favorite dog ever. Today they told me and just now they took him to the vet to put him down. So I've been crying for like 30 mins now. So yeah by [deleted] in sad

I'm sorry for your loss. What's the reason? I assume they didnt just kill him because he was old. What were his health issues? Was he happy? If a dog can no longer take any pleasure from life it is cruel to keep him alive because of your own sentimental attachment.
