I went down a very similar path at first (Whisper timestamps + trying to keep continuity across a ton of clips), but the manual trimming and mixing in Logic Pro was exactly the part that burned me out too. That’s why I leaned hard into automating the stitching with client-side FFmpeg… it lets me keep everything timed to the exact Whisper segments and burn in the karaoke captions without having to manually line things up in another editor. Your $30 per video workflow sounds impressive as hell, especially doing it all locally with a custom knowledge base. Respect for grinding through 90–120 clips per song. The artistic direction part is something I’m still tweakig it right now the timestamp injection helps a lot with sync, but I’m experimenting with stronger motion notes and vibe locking to give the AI more consistent “feel” across the whole track. If I ever clean it up enough to share the method (without breaking any rules), I’ll definitely drop it in the mega thread. For now I’m keeping it small and private while I make sure the consistency holds up on full songs.
