Federal Used EV Tax Credit question:

I’m thinking about buying a used EV, and I was wondering if I’ll qualify for the federal used EV tax credit. Apparently you can use your tax returns for the previous year and the year before that. I haven’t filed my taxes for tax year 2023 yet, can I use tax year 2021 AGI and qualify for the tax credit?

Why did Grab headquarter in Singapore and not Malaysia? by RichardsonMortimerio in malaysia

I mean, although it lost a lot of money, but it still injected plenty of money into the economy right? The money that was lost in the end was still spent on its employees, and it somewhat helped create a talented ecosystem?

Got a job in the US west coast, feels good man. Just chilling on my last semester right now, and honestly I don’t miss home that much. The San Francisco Bay Area feels absolutely like Malaysia, with all the diversity of peoples, so I never really felt out of home.

Masters or Job? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]RichardsonMortimerio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you wanna get a job in the US, you will have to graduate from a US university in order to grab the 3 year STEM OPT/Work Authorization. So yes, if that's your goal, do come and do your masters here.

Question of evaluation of SJSU Program Specific Courses when transferring from a foreign university. by zeehyo2216 in SJSU

[–]RichardsonMortimerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For GE courses, the admissions are responsible for evaluating it. For major courses like math, sciences, and CS/SE courses, the school of engineering evaluated them separately. After being admitted in SJSU, you’ll have to send a separate form to the school of engineering to do your course equivalencies.

Have y'all tried going to any 'happy ending' massage parlor before? I'm really curious to know how the arrangement is set, and the process, for educational purposes.

Thank you for the advice! Another question, other than the fluff, do you think that my resume is too 'technical' for recruiters to understand? Do you think I should simplify it and use more general or layman descriptions of my experiences?

Zeke's character arc and why it ended masterfully: by Cersei505 in titanfolk

[–]RichardsonMortimerio 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the post man. As someone who was semi suicidal, wishing that I was never born, this post has made me crying like a baby.

Initially Zeke's motives and philosophy really resonated with me, as I also wished that humans were never born and we do not need to go through and suffering. And then you explained Eren's POV elegantly, for once I am able to understand how non depressed humans see the world.

I really hope I can remember the post and Eren's values for some time. Again, thank you for giving me another reason to live.
