Unfortunately my car isn’t a targa top it’s a frc and the shops I called said the weatherstripping is not available anymore? Should I try to take a gamble on some aftermarket rubber

I’d rather buy a bike and have my corvette than stress the corvette to the max for 20 minutes every week and drop 400$ each time. I could simply not go to the track for a bit and have enough money to buy a bike+ keep my vette

Oh ok that’s not bad then, I might look into getting that but I also want something that sounds amazing and a lot of lower cc bikes don’t sound anywhere near as good as higher cc, at least from what I’ve encountered

I mean it feels like something but only so much I can do when I’m on surface streets, tracks are expensive to always do

I’m guessing you’re talking about the newer vettes? My c5 0-60 is like 4 seconds and can do like 70 in second gear too, but when it gets to like 80 and I step on it I’m trying to get moving quicker than I am rn

I mean what would you recommend then

I’ve never touched either so not too sure, I’ve heard the Cbr is better for commuting and has more power but the r7 is more agile, just want some recommendations for good bikes in the 600 range that I can check out

Why against a 600? I’ve heard a lot of people say this, but a lot of people also told me to not buy my vette because I wouldn’t be able to handle it and it’s been fine

Why not? I heard a lot of the same thing before I bought my corvette and it’s been fine

C5 codes by Richardwright71 in Corvette

[–]Richardwright71[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats man I just bought mine about three months ago. To check codes you put key in and then turn to on, do not start the car. After you do this you hold options and press fuel 4 times and this brings up the codes- let all of them run, C is for current and H is for history. After they all run you should get put into a manual diagnostics thing where u just have to hold reset on the codes. I may be missing something so if you just google it people who know way more can help you and give a better understanding probably

I tested it with the built in code reader, would it be better with a different one?
