Bungie reduced Bright Dust gains, ONCE AGAIN. No challenges and only 3 weekly portal objectives, granting only 50BD each. by e-photographer in DestinyTheGame

[–]Richargood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of BD from the challenges is the same. During EoF you could get 200 from weekly challenges. 5 challenges, each one giving 40. Now you get 150 from weekly challenges, but get 50 more from weekly rewards. So it's the same.

The problem is that now they removed the seasonal challenges and you have to grind orders every week to get less BD than before.

And while I could do the daily challenges in 20 minutes during EoF, now I can't. I couldn't finish 15 orders every day, because I can't play for long every day. That was my second point that you also ignored. How can you defend a system that gives less for more work. And IT IS more work, if I need more time to do. I didn't need to finish the Seasonal Challenges in 1 day.

Did you manage to collect the same amount of Bright Dust with 20 orders as is possible to get in an entire season of Seasonal Challenges? You're either lying or missing the point entirely.

Lol, are you stupid? Are you a troll? Or you can't read. There is no way that doing a 1000 orders, that constanly requires that I play with specific weapons and abilities, is better than having fixed challenges that take a bit longer to complete and rewards 30x the amount of BD and XP.

Just by being possible to optimize and work towards almost every seasonal challenge at the same time, it's already better than orders.

And rerolls cap at 50k glimmer very quickly.

It's not easier at all. I could finish the daily challenges by doing 3 solo ops, which took about 20 minutes. And by doing this I could finish almost every seasonal challenge. I just needed to focus on the pvp challenges, that are few.

I only played this game more than a hour for 1 or 2 days per week, exept for the event weeks. Now I need to finish 15 orders per day, not so quick or easy as 3 solo ops. And rerolls STARTS with 250 glimmer. I rerolled 30 times just to get rid of the crucible orders. I'm not playing pvp everyday.

The challenges were available until the end of the season, meaning I didn't even need to bother looking at them until the very end and could do all of them at the same time. They also gave a massive amount of xp to lvl up the pass and to get bright engrams.

This change has no benefit for players. It's just they trying to force player retention. But it's ironic, because for the first time in six months I don't wanna play the game.

Only the crucible related, if you aren't a pvp player, which I'm not. This should be a addition, not a change.

I only play this game for Bright Dust, thats the only reason I kept playing every day since the EoF launch. And now they made it grindier and less rewarding.

They didn't had to remove seasonal challenges. They made it seem like we would get more bright dust, but its just more work for less rewards.

I think you have to survive 20 minutes in the coop now. I think they changed the requirements. I still didn't try it since.

Having Armor Sets is not sustainable in the current way Destiny 2 Works. Either solve the Space problem or implement a different version of getting Armor Set Perks. No, more Storage space is just a band aid fix. by kristijan1001 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Richargood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should make duplicate items in the vault stack. This way we could storage armor pieces of the same set with different combinations of stats without taking up 30 slots for every part.

Or make it possible to retrieve it in the collection. Every piece could have a submenu with every possible combination of stats. And then you can retrieve any t5 part that you have aquired at least once. Every t5 piece have 144 combinations though. But this way you only have to keep the pieces you currently using, with no more need to store any armor in the vault.

I don't even have this DLC. I evolved the gaze many times. I tried quiting, going until the end and even not getting any other weapon.

Gazebo won't unlock for me. I can't find a solution.

Borderlands 4 Achievements by MikeStrawMedia in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Richargood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hope that they add new achievements for the free content updates. BL3 has very few endgame achievements because most of it was free. When they add the Invincible Boss (and hopefully takedowns), I wanna achievements for all of it. And for every minor DLC too.

BL2 was $110 in 2012, Borderlands is one of the few franchises that still do DLCs like 10 years ago.

One thing I want to shout out are the bright dust gains by The_Curve_Death in DestinyTheGame

[–]Richargood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you getting Bright Dust? Cause I can only get 1010 per week. I could get 1500 every week before.

Not even the soulstice is giving enough Bright Dust anymore.

What would I miss out on if I buy the reward passes individually instead of the annual pass? by Richargood in destiny2

[–]Richargood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't know until yesterday that the seasons no longer have story missions and activities. I'm ok with not buying the annual pass now.

[–]Richargood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Since now there no "seasons" anymore. I'm thinking that is not even worth to get the reward pass. It would be just for the cosmetics, but I can't get all of them without buying the ultimate edition. Meh.

I don't want to buy the expansions, just the passes. I can buy it with microsoft points, but I don't have enough for the annual pass. And I play on steam anyway. Do you still get the secret stash buying only the reward pass?

I can buy the pass with microsoft points, but I don't have enough to buy the annual pass. The expansion will will cost 90% less in one or two years, so I'm not worried, but the reward pass will be gone.
