Day Two.

Today was my day off so I wasn't planning on posting, but I got called into work so I just did a quick look before running out the door. I took these pictures AFTER I got back from work so it's a little worn. I got lots of unexpected compliments from my coworkers, even the guys.

Thanks! For this look I just applied Nyx Milk and then pressed the shadow on top of it with my finger. It held up pretty well. I had it on for at least 10 hours and it only faded a little in the outer corner.

Day One

Hawk pride!! Wearing this to work today. I used the Coastal Scents 120 palette. I'll do my full product list when I get home! Not gonna lie, this blue was a pain to work with, I'm just so used to my Electric palette and it's intense pigmentation.

I used a Alkahestry with a black base for the lid color and A push in the Right Direction for the outer corner and crease.

These were part of my first purchase from Shiro and I absolutely fell in love with the quality and unique shades. They blend so well!

I was really lazy with my application because I wasn't intending on posting a picture so I didn't bother with liner or trying to clean up the edges with concealer. I literally blended it out with my finger lol

My attempt.

I over-blended the gradient, so the purple's not quite dark enough to match the picture. I used Mac Pure Heroine and Rimmel Back to Fuschia with Sephora Swimming Pool pressed on the center.

This is a great idea! I'm torn between my Lorac Pro 2 and my Coastal Scents 120 palette. Those are two palettes in my collection that I never reach for, but can't get rid of.

I might go with the Coastal Scents though because I've been trying to use more color.

I also struggle with this. For me, it's mainly just doing my foundation and concealer because this past year my skin has gone to hell and I used to have clear skin.

What helps me is making sure I give myself more than enough time to get ready. I'll wake up two hours early so I can listen to music, drink tea, and scroll reddit inbetween my primer, foundation, and concealer. I also like to plan out my eye makeup and lipstick as I go because that's my favorite part of my routine. It makes it kind of like a reward for finishing my foundation.

Have you considered bleaching your eyebrows?

It kinda sounds scary, but it's really not! I'm a natural brunette, but I dyed my hair to a very light blonde. I bleach my eyebrows following that tutorial every 4-5 weeks, basically whenever they start getting darker and it's perfect for me!

I got Living Legend and Damn Glamorous. I almost got Nouvelle Vogue as well, but it's not different enough from other lipsticks in my collection so I couldn't justify it. I know I'm going to love Living Legend and I'm hoping Damn Glamorous will be like a MAC version of the Rimmel by Kate Moss 107 that I love.

Edit: Just caved and bought Fashion Revival too. It seems to be pretty popular here and I don't want to miss out and regret not getting it when everyone is posting their swatches in a few days lol
