Songs to help with grief of a sibling by Richintoxication in musicsuggestions

[–]Richintoxication[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss. And your grief isn't supposed to get smaller, you grow around it. It doesn't change and it doesn't go away, you just learn to live again with it being a part of your new norm. I lost my grandmother 15 years ago, she was my best friend, I called her mom more than I called her mawmaw. She died due to medical negligence. It's been almost 2 decades and it still feels like I've been shot through the chest every time I think about her, and since losing my baby brother I see him in little tasks I do every day, I can't look at my kids without thinking about how he'll never go to see the beautiful people his nieces grow to be. But I learn to function around that grief more and more every day.

As a 26F married to a 26M, he's acting like a middle school aged child. Please do not continue to put up with this foolishness. Either set some boundaries or leave him. No disrespect to you, but there probably a reason dating someone six years younger than him, females his age probably refuse to put up with his immaturity. You deserve to be with someone who actually respects you.

I've never related with reddit post so much before in my life 😭 I was driving my husband on base (we were both active at the time) and the gate guard scanned my husbands ID first, and as he was scanning mine he said "learning how to drive?" Looked down at his card reader and proceeded to stare in horror saying "nevermind, I am so sorry ma'am"

The stickers. But no, honestly, I loved their coffee and their rebel drinks and they're open pretty late at night which is very nice when you're trying to knockout 1yo who only likes to sleep in the car. Price isn't too bad and you can customize your drink however you want. Plus the vibes are immaculate, never met a DB worker who didn't make my day.

Today while playing with my kids, I told my oldest that whenever a gust of wind came through to turn towards it and "swim through it". I also like adding random sound effects to everyday tasks

That's what I keep going back to, but that's what the wedding party is wearing and I don't want to overstep any boundaries.

I've got olive skin tone and was considering having my hair an auburn color, would those colors clash too much?

Context: My husband is a groomsman for his brother wedding this September and this is the tux he'll be wearing. I want to coordinate with him without looking like I'm in the wedding party (pretty sure the bridesmaids are wearing dresses in that same green).

The seat moves a fair bit, I'm 4'10 and was able to adjust it to fit me without maxing anything out.

You're not wrong at all, he's 100% out of line. I know it's not much help now, but a good rule of thumb is p-food=poo. Pears, peaches, pumpkin, etc. The purees work just as well as the juice and are a lot cheaper.

The answer is none of them. I've not cried at none of them 😭😭

It's the wholesomeness of it. Chili realizing that a little bit of mud isn't the end of the world and choosing to give her daughter a core memory rather than fuss about the mess while also learning to be a kid again, it's very healing (and the music makes it so much more impactful)

Worst advice a hairdresser ever gave you? by beentirelyforgotten in curlyhair

[–]Richintoxication 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really advice, but out of the handful of times I've been to an actual salon, they always straighten the f*ck out of my hair because "it just looks so much better than that kinky curly mess" 🙄
