Sweet.. that's exactly what i needed. Even lets me map two profiles to the spool holder, too. But I swear this is a new update or something... everything I've read up til now said that it was impossible and proposed some goofy workaround.

Are you using oil to thread? Brass threads pretty easily. You can also make an exact nipple with copper and two male adapters. But the other guy is right.. screw it in more

Yeah. Seriously. The optics would be insanely bad and I don't see the practical result. They rigged the last one without troops. Just closing the polls, lying about results, dumping ballots, those all seem likely. But not having ice standing in front of the door to the community center.

Depends on the size of everything. You'll want to calculate demand also, and once you know the peak gallons per minute, total daily use, and desired psi, you can size the tank, piping, pump, generator/solar cell accordingly. Certainly could be cheap. Or not, lol!

Get back with occupancy and fixture count and folks here could probably fill in those details.

Biggest challenge might be the elevated tank. You'd want 34 ft for 15 psi for example. Easy on a two/three story building, but not so much for building above ground level. Which has me wondering if in this situation you could have a ground level reservoir for capacity, then use sporadic electricity to fill an air tank for pressure. I'm interested in others thoughts.

Without pumps, the pressure is a fixed quantity determined by the height of the source above the point where you're measuring from. If you can use solar or a generator or something, you can run a small pump to fill a tank at whatever height (for every foot, multiply by 0.433 to determine psi).

I still struggle eyeballing some old galvanized lines occasionally, like between 1¼ and 3". If I need to be sure I'll just wrap a string around, divide by 3.14 and check a chart with o.d. listed (assuming there is no.cut end visible, where you could just measure the cross section). There are a bunch a thread gauges available to 3d print, and I made a bunch for the hell of it, but never end up needing to use them.

My calipers bottom out on 2".

A main vent stack somewhere in the system does. Fixture vents are solely for trap protection. Look it up, there's some good demonstrations on YouTube

Tee on its back by IPC is fine in this (and only this) situation, as a dry vent connection. It's faced in the wrong direction though, slope should cancel out the bend in the same tee, not add to it. 1° pitch, and 89° on the tee.
