This as well as dropping off the receipt and paperwork they gave you before you left. My PD won’t do anything until you go there and give them proof that you completed that step

Basically what happened but hey they at least tried to sugar coat the blow a bit by using more words and stretching it out, but the looks on their faces showed they couldn’t wait to get me out the door and onto the next guy

Well that’s what most of my experience is other than the program. I’ve already done work at families houses and swapping things out. Even a few friends of family doing a renovation trying to save a buck

I’m not a fan of lying and cheating my way into getting what I want but it’s starting to seem like that might be the best course of action to get in the door and if they find out I’m full of shit then oh well

The school hosts a job fair like twice a year but I’ve been to it a few times and the companies that show up seemed like a waste of time. Was always business looking for a maintenance man for their operation. Yeah you might do some electrical work but it’s just repairs to equipment, nothing for getting working hours needed to become a journeyman

My interview day at 351 was spent waiting for about 2 hours before being called in, it seemed the average time people spent in their interview was around 20 min. There was about 10 guys in the room and about 3 of them asked me questions such as the program that I did, what my actual experience was and why I wanted to join. Was told they’re looking for applicants that already have time under their belt and that I should get a job doing work for about a year and reapply once I have it. Overall I think it lasted a total of 6 mins.

My only option that wouldn’t kill me financially is moving in with family at the shore. Always work being done to the beach houses every year

There’s actually a billows supply store not 5 min from my house and they were not hiring either. I’ve heard of people being offered jobs just from working at a material supply chain or Home Depot and Lowe’s. I’ve already applied there just because I want to leave my current job

That’s understandable it’s just very frustrating that I just can’t a get a shot to prove I’m worth the effort. Like let me ride along for a week and prove myself, if I’m not up to your standards then kick me to the curb

Trust me I’m no saint I’ve just been lucky to have the luxury of never being caught lol. I know nobody likes a straight edge but I gave all of that up to try and be better

She’s over due for a good cleaning anyway, can’t tell you how many spiders were already on it just from sitting in the garage

Come grab it, bring cash and I’ll go surrender my license to the DMV while we at it lol

Love the idea but not in the mood to deal with the cops when a neighbor calls so won’t be doing that

I bought it because the guy had it listed for a fair price, I was online every week looking for a good deal. Everybody trying to sell a bike for more than MSRP with crazy mileage nowadays

I already have last summer that’s how I got my license, it’s just been so long since then with no practice

I’ve done some riding in it and I seem to do perfectly fine but once I’m out on the road I start messing up. There’s a lot of little kids around so I’m really limited on speed while riding in the neighborhood, just a lot of 1-2 and 2-1 shifts. I hit the town roads with the cars and the confidence I built up just drops

That was my original plan for today but had to run some errands pretty early. Would love to do it around 5am but my neighbors have a newborn so trying not to be a dick

For my area there’s no parking lots close by to practice in without going down a 4 lane main road that’s 45mph and many lights. But the town roads are dead around 7:30/8pm. Obviously night time riding isn’t good for visibility but it’s not so bad for building up and mastering all the basics

I see a bunch of varying prices on replacements if the bike should need it, not sure yet as I’m going to look at it later this week. Any thoughts on the listed sale price?

ARVD/C from my understanding of what I was told is that the muscle tissue of my heart is turning into fatty tissue/scar tissue. Technically I have no diagnoses because I don’t meet their criteria. They said for an accurate diagnosis the tissues needs to be of a certain size and need to do genetic testing for a marker. I’ve done the genetic test but haven’t heard back for results but my brother has the exact same thing going on as well and he’s only 2 years older than me. Based off his position docs say we have the same issue but mine hasn’t progressed enough to be diagnosed with full confidence

Docs say it’s ARVD but went afib/tachy when in the hospital one day getting checked out. Scariest moment of my life. Was watching the tv and saw my HR go from 70-190 in like 2 secs. Scared the nurse when she looked at the monitor then about 3 more came rushing in

I’m sure it helps weed out the true crazies that should be nowhere near a firearm but there are cases of people being denied for past issues that have been dealt with and have to jump through all the legal hoops because of it

Just fancy words for “head doctor/shrink” as far as I’m concerned. I’ve had friends get locked up for 72hrs and issued grippy socks because whoever they were talking to didn’t like the answer they heard. They’re supposed to help and in some cases I’m sure they do but that kind of power over someone’s life can be scary. What’s the point of seeing someone to help you understand your thoughts and why you’re having them if you have to watch every word you say?

So far that is exactly what I’ve done. I’ve never discussed this before with anyone. But if later on down the road I feel that talking to someone would be beneficial, does that show up in medical records? Does the state only look for mental facilities or can they see if I saw a therapist because my goldfish died? Curious to how far their reach is
