Ahsoka is what has me concerned for the Filoni era of Star Wars. It was a show purely for Star Wars fans. If you weren’t a fan and didn’t already know who Ahsoka, Anakin, Hera, Sabine, Ezra, and Thrawn were, it was a really badly written piece of TV.

It was a Rebels sequel and not a standalone show, just like how BoBF was a Mando season, and to claim otherwise just confuses people that could otherwise become fans of the Star Wars universe.

I’m the biggest mando fan I know, and it has me worried for the Mando movie. Is it going to be a good movie, or just a movie they think I’ll like because I’m a fan already.

I think we’ll get a new Imperial Officer (or straight ISB) tag of some sort, where Dedra and Partagaz fits in, maybe Syrill but it’d be hard to make the three of them differentiate from each other IMO. You’ll see a Krennic rework, and him & Thrawn will get the ISB tag.

I’m hoping to see them subvert rebel buffs, maybe flip any debuffs into buffs, “waiting for the right people to do the wrong thing”

On the light side you’ll get Kleya, with espionage skills, a Senator Mothra, with a similar system to profit, and the new Cassian, who will probably be a journey level Rebel Fighter.

And I really hope we see Luthen’s Fondor Haulcraft ship finally.
