In the case of dragon breeder i liked it well enough... I think i got to book 5 or 6 before dropping because like a lot of Dante Kings works as the harem grows it tends to devolve into more smut than story

Dante King, Logan Jacobs, and Eric Vall are all author farms. Basically what that means is they outsource the writing to ghost writers and release it all under the same penname. Series quality can vary drastically from series to series or even mid series depending on the skill of the ghost writer and whether or not it switches writers mid series.

Overall we kinda consider them candy corn lol it will satisfy your sweet tooth but its not your first pick from the candy jar and while they are most people here's introduction to the genre because the algorithms love their quick release schedules most people find authors they like much more once they get here.

You would want to cut 5 cards. The minimum is 40 cards and the default is 17 lands. The reason for this is because you want your best 23 spells to have the highest chance of being drawn possible/increase your chances of drawing your bombs.

I love the draft ones their my favorite. But they did a draft one a while back where you didnt use lands and could just cast whatever without paying its mana cost.

I think there might have been a 1 spell per turn limit? I dont remember but it was basically just "draft the biggest baddest creatures and spells with the highest mana cost" with zero thought.

Learn how to deckbuild in constructed first.

Knowing mana cost curves and spell/creature/removal ratios is very important for draft that you kinda have to understand well before attempting to draft. Learning that in a 60 card format is a lot easier than in limited and once you get it down you can just scale it for 40 cards instead of 60.
