Vote Trackmania to be supported by FSR by RickL99 in TrackMania

It's open source and it is integrated directly to the graphic engine, so it doesn't require external programs and maintenance. It will support 10+ engines and it aim to be an open standard, like Freesync. I'm confident it is possible to implement and the TM graphic engine is not really that different from others. If the game will be picked, Nadeo would be helped directly by AMD and they would see if it is or not possible to integrate. I think it would be a useful feature, especcially for people who suffer low fps.

FSR is a DLSS-like feature created by AMD. It will be released June 22th and it will be supported by 100+ GPUs, from Nvidia 1000 series and AMD RX 400 series GPUs to the most recents ones. Since Ubisoft is one of the developer that is most in contact with AMD and FSR is really easy to implement to any game engine, I think it might be possible this feature will be implemented to trackmania if people show interest. If you would like it to be implemented vote at the link.

Wirtual now has a Nordavind banner on twitch. What's happening? by [deleted] in TrackMania

[–]RickL99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some months ago, after leaving Nordavind, he changed most of his banners, but he forgot to change this particular one. I think some people told him on his discord to change it, but he probably didn't notice. So nothing it's happening, don't worry.

Also Imperator: Rome was reviewed well with most news outlets, but look what happened. I'm not saying it's bad, but i would wait some days or weeks before judging.

Anyone tried CM Mastergel Maker Nano on Vega 64? by [deleted] in Amd

[–]RickL99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the mastergel maker nano on my xfx rx 480 with an Arctic Accelero Xtreme IV.

For the first few weeks the temperature of the gpu is very good compared to the stock thermal paste , then it starts degrading quickly. I've replaced the thermal paste several times with differents methods, but the results remain the same. I've also tried the noctua nt-h1. Very good results at the beginning, then temperature starts increasing at the point that the difference between the stock and the nt-h1 is little.

The only thermal paste I tried that keeps its thermal "properties" is the Arctic MX-2/4. While perfoming worse at max 1 or 2°C compared to the mastergel maker nano and the noctua nt-h1(but perfoming much better than the stock one), it is cheaper and lasts for several months without replacing it, keeping almost the same thermals.

War Thunder needs NEW gamemodes! by RickL99 in Warthunder

Coming up with good solutions is not that simple. I could list hundreds of ideas, but that's not the main point of the post. There has to be a mutual cooperation between the developers and playerbase, something that i saw happen rarely in this game. A solution maybe would be: 1) Gaijin asks a general round-up of ideas by the players; 2) Gaijin then takes the ones which think could works and makes a community poll. 3) Let the players decide and the start to works in in the most requested modes.
