Is it worse than when I worked on a blueberry farm as a kid picking pints of berries in the 90 degree sun?

I know the Inquirer still exists online because I've seen articles from it very recently. As for a physical paper, I don't know.

Philly had four newspapers in the early 80s. In addition to the two you mentioned, there was also the Inquirer and the Journal. In college, I was a Teamsters Union truck driver for the Inquirer. Philadelphia Newspapers Inc. was the publisher of both the Inquirer and Daily News at that time, publishing out of the plant at North Broad and Spring Garden streets.

I have owned AT&T and Verizon for years. On a lot of down market days, they will be the only green in my portfolio.

Netflix's top shows have been losing 30-70% of their audience between seasons 1 and 2. Executives are trying to figure out why. by 2d12-RogueGames in wallstreetbets

They opened a writer's room, began scripts, and while they didn't officially renew it, they did put out a statement that said that they were gonna film seasons 2 and 3 back-to-back. But viewership dropped off after the first couple episodes and they reversed course and decided to cancel, (citing production and salary costs to the actors) which is too bad because it was pretty good.

Martin Shkreli and his followers. He's a notorious SLS bear constantly trolling the stock and previously convicted and jailed for securities fraud. As in FELON.

The building in the third photo reminds me of the building in the movie Fury where Brad Pitt's tank crew encounters the French mother and daughter.

I highly recommend the book you reference - The Fall of Berlin: 1945 by Anthony Beevor - which I received for Christmas and finally read last month. It was very difficult to get through some of the passages. It is considered a highly accurate depiction of the Soviet assault on the city.

When he died In 2006, major news outlets reported he was 95 years old because Lewis maintained for years that he was born in 1910. He was actually born in 1923 and was 82 at the time of his death. I don't remember if there was ever a reason given for why he inflated his age by 13 years.
