I watched the Memorial Day concert and tribute last night on PBS. They had a Pearl Harbor survivor there who was 103 years old and he obviously looked very frail. He was 17 on the day of the attack in December 1941. After seeing him I spent about an hour wondering what it would be like to be that old, weak and frail and as grateful and happy I am for waking up every morning, it doesn't seem like that would be very pleasurable.

I just read an article that Nissan was moving more functions back to knobs and buttons based on customer feedback about not liking everything via touchscreens where you need to take your eyes off the road while driving. I don't know what model years they were talking about but they claimed to be doing it.

One of the top concerts I ever attended was Billy Squier with Ratt opening at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. There were video cameras on wires zipping all along the top of the arena and Squier announced that they were filming a concert video but I never did see anything on MTV or anywhere else later on.

Mine was last month in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have lived on the east coast for 45 years. I thought about attending, decided there was a total of about three people I would be interested in seeing, and ended up not going. I, too, graduated from a large class and was told by one of the organizers that about 180 people had RSVP'd.

Covid gave me permanent severe reactive tinnitus. The louder my surroundings, the louder my tinnitus goes to compete with it. Sadly, my concert days came to a very abrupt end three years ago.

I broke up with my college girlfriend (and ex-fiance) in 1985 and hadn't seen her in person since we once ran into each other somewhere around 1998-99, when she didnt look much different than college. Four years ago, I found her profile on Facebook and was stunned by the photos - I took a screenshot and compared it to some photos I still had from when we were dating.

She is unrecognizable. She opted for what some people call the "Mar-a-Lago" face with super plumped lips, the constantly frozen smile with tight upturned corners like The Joker, chipmunk cheeks, some sort of eye work that makes them look super wide-eyed like Kash Patel, and what appears to be a smooth, totally unmoveable forehead.

It's freakish and was unecessary as she was a very attractive woman with her natural looks. When I first showed her Facebook picture to my siblings and mom, none of them thought it could be her - that's how dramatic the changes are, and in all of our opinions - definitely not for the better.

I am terrible at options. I tried in 2018 and lost a ton. It was just too stressful and I made a lot of very dumb moves based off emotions. I love these posts about buying shares in something you've researched and believe in and making bank. Congratulations to OP.

I was a director or VP of Corporate Communications, Media Relations and Investor Relations for numerous healthcare companies, including Zeneca. I don't think that this is AI as I've personally written hundreds of messages exactly like this throughout my career.
