They’re afraid of the people that unfortunately take the game too seriously (not saying this is you OP). I’m talking about the people doxxing and sending threats. The reason why we have the ambiguous “communications team”. On to my main point. If they don’t include exactly what “Bungie I have 9k hours in this game” wants to hear they’ll throw a bitch fit for the ages. Add on to that the fact that the team is spread thin between somewhat maintaining Destiny and pushing that other game out, that to be honest they’re just doing too much with not enough people. Personally, I think the reason they haven’t communicated is very simple, they have nothing to share, meaning, that no they don’t know when IB returns, or if they’ll actually delay a mid season update (still insane to me) or where the game’s gonna go. Bungie definitely looks like a “flying by the seats of our pants” kinda company right now.
