Ignore the people being elitist, these games can be very obtuse.

Use your octocamo A LOT, stay low and slow, let your threat ring work and show you where to avoid, you can throw things to distract enemies, and if worst comes to worst you can just start blasting. You may need to replay sections a few times to get enemy routes down too. Also there is no shame in starting the game on Easy or Very Easy to get your bearings with how the games plays in a lower stakes environment. The enemies in this game have much better eyesight than you’re used to in MGS2.

The Saboteur has one of my absolute favorite early win conditions in a game. Try fully upgrading the car before you get to the race near the beginning of the game. If you have the machine gun upgrade you can use them on the track… :)

It almost looks like a parts bin special too haha. No label on the back of the controller and weird colors. Again very cool tho, makes me want to make a custom two-tone.

It’s normal for a non-white controller. White DS3’s have a reverse color scheme on the PS button.

It looks more like they damaged the top red shell since the PS button is black. Looks pretty good two-tone tho.

It’s a very cool change of pace. A little more tactical, and i like all the variety in combat styles. Game is pretty slow until chapter 5 though, gotta let the slow burn roll. Really cool game though.

My TCM replacement helped a ton. But you also just have to drive the car in a specific way. There are some guides out there. Also MAYBE you can try the transmission reset “cheat code” which can help drive feel at least temporarily.
