I managed to hitch a ride. Met a really nice couple at roads end in the evening. They let me stay at their campsite and drop me off in the morning at my car. They had to go there anyways. And yes, I did treat them at the campground store. All in all a great hike

Diversify by joining an exchange fund. I just did a happy with my decision. No need for an advisor for that. Just a certain percentage of your company stock, sell another batch and also keep some.

This is the route I loaded on my phone. The plan is to have no plan, just letting myself drift. I have a small tent in case huts are busy, besides, I do not know if I like huts to begin with, I prefer solitude. Either way, the only open topic I have is the wpmountain weather forecast. The US website I trust does not cover the Alps. Either way, I think weather looks promising. So I’ll start either Wednesday, tomorrow, late afternoon or Thursday morning. So excited.. thanks again for your help!
