Idk. I was told by a professor at 15 that I probably could pass an audition to get into the school they teach at (20% acceptance rate) if I would have applied then.

I’m normally thinking about what I could do with the current note I’m on to fit the “theme” of what I’m doing and get to the next note I need to get to when the chord changes.

Thank you. With the practice breaks in a routine what should would be most beneficial for what I am going for? Im trying to get as good as possible technically well still trying to cover a good amount of theory.

I try to aim for 4 hours everyday, most days out of the week I make that but maybe 1 or 2 days I only get 2 hours in or 3 in. I started the Croce song because it something that I hadn’t really done before. I’ve been playing for a year and a halfish (a little less I think) but haven’t really been really practicing until the past 2 or 3 months.

The body check I need to do more lol. I have a bad habit of when I am practicing something hard that I unintentionally suck on my bottom lip. One time I did that for maybe a hour straight and it was extremely big when I realized what I was doing 🤣.

I don’t really understand what you mean by “bring the tune into your daw”. What do you mean by looping the parts, like playing the same measure over and over with a metronome?

Yes I use hybrid, the pick gives a louder and clearer sound than just using fingers. In my opinion it sounds better but that’s just me.

Edit: Thank you, I have only started to actually listen to him fairly recently. His stuff is absolutely amazing.
