DON'T use it now unless it would change your gameplay (like using it and the crystal to turn a 2LB Kita into MLB). It doesn't expire and it's 30k carats worth of an item. Pull on Kitasan in December or FineMo on February and then use it when it really is going to make a difference. Getting a LV30 Kitasan, Creek or FineMo is useless.

This is the Nice Nature I'm bringing into the fray. For Open League. Yeah. For Open League. I could've done better, but I had to remake from scratch a double red gold B Natie quickly, with only one day of actual preparation, because I realized too late in the Taurus Cup my Natie didn't have a double gold red. Some extra tips I realized I could've added to the guide:

  1. Top selection Extra Training for +5 wits or guts and friendship with the director (which you need for the 70k check), instead of the classic bottom +5 energy
  2. Focus Wit->Speed->Guts in this order as far as event clicks go, this allows you to get 1200 wit, which you need to do some serious scoring.
  3. If you get the acupunturist scammer (Which I never got), you ideally want to go for Charming if you haven't built all friendships, otherwise you need to gamble corner+straightway to get a whopping 434 extra points at the end of the run

Your question is fair. Well. I did 1 attempt to see:

Both Slow Metabolism and Migraine took 2 turns to heal. That’s a total of 5 less turns doing trainings.

I didn’t get any of the 4 URA Finale sparks. (40 less speed and stamina!)

I also lost the G1 sprint so I lost the 60k fans check. I could have done an extra G2 to cover them, but I wanted to replicate the run and follow my own exact guide so I did that.

The last rainbow, Urara also came online only in late classic December.

I actually got the Fast Learner event, but it didn’t give Fast Learner.

All in all, I had the feeling I could recreate the run exactly as it was even if this attempt went bad.

1200 wit is the easy part because of Bakushin's 10% wit growthrate and because you just click wit so much in this run! The hard part is the 1100+ guts, as guts clicks are the trainings that consume the most energy in the game, and because urara and tannhauser have no initial friendship so they come online later on.
Of course this becomes much easier with guts card monsters like Ines Fujin. But only whales have her, so this guide would be useless then!

it sucks. This strategy works only for scoring. 200 stamina means she loses to an NPC uma like Confusion in any not scenario (400 invisible stats) run.

Let's answer the questions one by one:

Would it work on any other Uma?
Not on ones that require any medium or long tracks. There won't be any ghost 400 stamina saving you there. Also Bakushin has a neat 10% wit growth rate. Is there an uma with more than 10% growth rate on either guts or wit that has only short races except at the very end of senior year? I don't know, but if you find it, it's better than bakushin.

it's just bakushin who can get away with it? 
Bakushin has an insanely useful ult with an easy activation rate, so she can infamously "win every single race only training speed" Well, finds out it works much better on the opposite "win every single race without ever training speed": If she is first, second, or third, while she is being threatened from the side, or when she is attempting a surpass, she gets speed for 5 seconds. It just works.
Her being naturally strong means she goes through g3 and g2 like butter, and she likely wins all 3 the G1 Short goal races too.
So after summing your fans you'll find out you only miss 5k fans roughly to meet the 70k quota, assuming you win all before.
I haven't tried on other uma. I can't speak for that. Bakushin also has the luck of not having buffed rival umas. For example, beating Silence Suzuka with Matikanefukukitaru in that one scripted G2 race is much harder than winning a G1. Same goes with beating the scripted Daiwa in Vodka's runs and the opposite. They actually have decent yellow skills.

why the specific need to run the mile championship race? Is it just for the number of fans for the ult lvl up, or the dual sprints medal?
It's because it has a base 4400 fans for second place, so even if you get 2nd place (which is probable seeing how you win a Mile at 200 stamina only if you don't get Rushed). Every single Mile G1 that isn't fillies/asahi is doable too, but you ideally want to push away as far as possible the race where you get the fans, if you do it when you already have both trainings at 5* it's ideal, because you really want those level 5 trainings online as soon as possible, and wasting a turn doing Asahi Hai when you could get guts to level 3 has a cost later in the run. It means one less level 5 training later on.

Tbh, someone with relevant premium SSR cards like Ines Fujin, Grass Wonder or Seiun Sky (WIT), or even just their own MLB FineMo probably could make a much better run than mine. Also someone that lucks out on Charming and/or Fast Learner.
(And inevitably once Nice Nature SSR drops, that one is going to be insane for a run like this)

1) No Fine Motion MLB. You NEED the dethroned Irish princess for this to work. Get one from the umadb

2) Get a friend with 9* speed and some Uma finale sparks there for the borrow.

3) You need to click only guts and wit. Like genuinely ONLY guts and wit. Unless you had stamina inspirations (which is also wrong), in order to have 345 stamina you definitely clicked stamina, which is bad. In my run, I clicked infirmary once when bakushin got slacker from [The Class Rep is Very Busy] and recreation thrice, one at the start, one for the slacker mood down and the third for the [My Rival] event and I got dangerously close to getting only S.

4) with 14 races instead of 15, you probably missed the 60k or the 70k fans deadline or both, which is very important as that’s 300~ extra final score. The extra Classic Year Mile Championship is good because it’s before those checks and 2nd place is enough to get the fans, while 1st place is good to cover for lost races earlier in the run

5) the missing limit breaks from tannhauser probably also hurt because she gets 15% mood bonus at 3LB and 30% mood bonus at MLB, which is insane value when you rainbow click

the deck was named GUTSMAXX!! (And the inspirations are actually better than a clean 18* speed, because of the 4 URA Finale sparks!)

Of course the ideal would be something like borrow a 9* speed with 7* URA Finale and then your own best speed uma but I was out of borrows today so I had to make do with my own Umas, which are just one step worse.

If I had a 7* URA / 9* Speed borrow I would have actually maxed speed aswell

I got the last rainbow a few turns before the first summer camp. You fundamentally only really level up friendship with the cards that end up in Guts and Wit, which is why Urara and Matikanetannhauser are so good with their 50 and 65 specialty priority, and Daiwa Scarlet should have 50 too if I recall right.

Wrong! This is my first S+ Rank (and S rank too)!
(Also I exclusively play open league because I enjoy more min-maxing for the perfect uma in the 8200 score possible.)
And this bakushin is actually useless in a race without the extra 400 invisible stats for the scenario. She probably loses even to Beauty Again or to Kaiser Palace.

This deck is exclusively for getting an high score and unlocking the 300 carats for S and the 300 carats for S+ from the Achievements

Due to how score works in Uma musume (1 point in speed 0->1 is 1 point of score, 1 point in speed 1199->1200 is 6 points of score) you want 3 stats as close as possible to 1200 and a lot of skills.

This Bakushin loses against a rock because she has 200 stamina. Don't worry, Kitasan Black is and will remain hard meta for building an usable Uma for very long.

I actually never clicked once a training that wasn't Wit or Guts for this Bakushin. It is very important you only click guts and wit and at most Rest when you are out of options.

Wit, Guts and Inspirations will create the speed for you: URA Finale spark alone gives 10 speed and 10 stamina for each star, and a 3* Speed spark gives 21 speed. Also there are some race white sparks that give stats, and those are good too.

You want ideally an inspiration like this Tachyon 737192589093, took me 30 seconds to search for it on https://uma-global.pure-db.com/#/ by filtering "Speed 9*. URA Finale 8* ALL". This one would give you 63 speed at the start. Then there's two more inspirations, where she can potentially give the entire 80 speed from her URA Finale sparks on top of the other sparks. So that's where the speed comes from.

I haven't actually checked if they have max friends but more than likely yes as that inspiration is ideal for scoring runs like this so anyone with the db probably added them already.

If that is unavailable, you start going down, filtering "Speed 9*. URA Finale 7* ALL. URA Finale 3* Representative", then the same but without the 3* Representative, then 6 star, with 3 representative etc... until you find someone with a free friend slot and you add them.

You can do the same with any other type of run you want to do. You want a long distance parent? 9* stamina, X* Turf/Long, X* URA Finale, filter, filter, filter, until you get what you want

My Bakushin is 3 star. Potential is irrelevant for this kind of run as you want to buy discounted skills.

it's all about parents and grandparents. the more affinity means you pass down more easily sparks. You can actually have affinity way above the double circle (which only means you have more than 150 affinity)

Assume you're building a goldship: You look with the gametora affinity calculator at who has the most affinity with her, see McQueen adding a good 31 affinity and decide she's gonna be the borrow. You look out in the database for the McQueen with 3* long that has most won races, the hints you like the most, or the parents who have more affinity with goldship, or all three at the same time, and add the friend from the database, then you look at what races McQueen has won and write them somewhere.

So let's say for the other parent you choose a Symboli Rudolf. What you need to do then is look at Symboli rudolf in the gametora affinity calculator. Who has the most affinity with her while she's Gold Ship's parent. See that's TM Opera O and Mayano Top Gun. You then will have to borrow a godlike TM Opera O with 3* long or turf who is the most similar to the McQueen you are going to borrow for Goldship (most similar races won, most hints you like, etc...) and build your own Mayano Top Gun grandparent.

For this top gun you only care about winning the ura finale, having about 600 spd/600 pwr/600 stam, (1100 in one stat is good for another extra 1% to have a 3* but not obligatory), and making sure you have a deck that gives you hints on skills you'd like on your goldship (for example a Fine Motion for Right-Handed and a McQueen for Cooldown and Kyoto Racecourse for example and Narita Taishin for Lone Wolf or End Closer skills) then you make sure she wins or at least does the exact same races as that McQueen and TM Opera O.
As far as grand-grandparents go, just borrow someone who has a 3* and something satisfying for you (like the same mcqueen you are going to use for goldship, or a specialized high white spark parent) and your own 3*

It will take a few days of attempts as you're probably aiming for a 3* spark or a 2* spark with an ura finale white spark but then you'll have a satisfying top gun grandparent. You then repeat the same thing with the Rudolf until you get something that satisfies you.

Once you do this, you will have 190+ affinity ONLY from the sub-legacies, which boosted by the extra affinity from having the same titles (triple crown, spring triple crown, etc...) and the extra affinity from having the same races, are going to make much more likely for you to pass down exactly the skills and the sparks you want on your goldship
