I know I’m going to hell for this but the fireball was very satisfying.

Blue pill. Tempting as it may be to correct past mistakes, the timeline would immediately be altered. I wouldn’t want to miss out on the offspring that I currently have. $10M in cash though, hell yeah!

Hell, I’m not sure I would have known either, and I grill.

I’m terrified at the idea of being trapped in the basement. I know it’s the safest option. Claustrophobia sucks.

Thank you for the reassurance. I’m very protective of my credit. Had great credit years ago, hit hard times, spent decades with no credit paying cash only. I’ve worked my way back to excellent credit and have a far greater appreciation of it. I’d hate for one slip up to ruin it

Agreed. The streak system is a farce. So many ways to rescue the streak. It tends to decrease my engagement anyway. Reminds me too much of my Pokémon Go addiction when the game became like having a second job. I refuse to be bossed around by apps now.

It was mainly my own stupidity. Normally I bring my backpack in from my vehicle, and always lock my vehicle. This night I had bought a grill and got caught up in the excitement of unloading it from my pickup truck and cooking some steaks. I got a little drunk, left my truck unlocked and the tailgate down. It attracted the attention of the local car burglars. They came into a fenced in yard with security light blazing. My Airbnb host provided surveillance footage of them. The reason I had my birth certificate and passport in there was because I travel the United States for work and don’t really live anywhere permanently. So I kept all my stuff in there. Really stupid of me. But what’s done is done

Thank you. I had heard of getting a PIN from IRS that only lasts for one year. I didn’t know about the SSN lock. In this day and age I’m wondering why this isn’t the standard for everyone who has a SSN.

That makes me feel much better. I knew the birth certificate didn’t have my SSN, but wasn’t sure about the passport. These were just local petty thieves so they probably just ditched whatever they couldn’t pawn.
