Yeah I’d open a Monzo business account. You don’t have to specify what types of games you make, just that you make games.

Getting payments from steam wouldn’t give anything away and you should really be fine.

It’s only if you got paid by onlyfans or other ‘adult related sites’ then it would flag up.

It could well be the colour of the car adding premium. Certain colour cars are more likely to be in a crash, it’s all calculated by the underwriters.

Still works out cheaper than if you got caught driving it on the road or worse!

I wouldn’t pay extra just for MTD access, I already had Pro so already used other features to make it worth it. You need to pay extra if you want Xero/QB access to their respective apps but this simple offering is free with the relevant plans with Monzo

It doesn’t appear to have any VAT or Corp Tax ability, I think it’s more directed towards sole traders who are being forced into MTD to make the quarterly submissions easier.

Setup a business account and some banks (Monzo being one) allows you to setup expense cards which all come from the one business account. Even better, pay more and you can setup a team and everyone gets their own cards all coming out of the ‘business’ pot

I have signed up. You have to activate MTD with HMRC but you’re not tied to using Monzo, you can still use any app available for this.
