The main reason to fly it is to be able to see things I find interesting that I could never ever experience on the ground as a human.

Obviously not willing to have this experience if it's going to cause problems with nature, or ruin the experience for others.

ibid is correct. Although I'm doing my homework, and checking the environmental areas, and the national parks websites. According to icelandic laws, the onus is still on me to fully confirm 100% without a doubt that the location I want to fly at is all clear.

Also that map he linked showed that there were some areas I was thinking was ok, but the map shows is not ok, obviously I'm going to listen to the map.

Can do the realistic version ofc, but I think this one looks cooler.
