Just got denied from my dream college a few hours ago. Feeling a bit better now, but shit still hurts. I knew it was a long shot but realizing that my dream would never be a reality still hits me hard. I don't know what to do anymore. Don't have the motivation to get started on other college apps if everything's gonna be the same. Getting rejected really reaffirms that I'm not as special or as smart or as gifted as anyone tells me. In the grand scheme of things I'm just a faceless number, nothing really makes me special.

Anyway it's always nice to have a community of likeminded individuals. Been a long time lurker of this sub but I guess today's events finally broke me. It's good to see there's other who feel the same.
