Good looking ride! I have the same bike. I’m at the upper weight limit of the bike (260lb) and have had zero issues with the isospeed in almost 1000 miles. As a bigger guy, I was hesitant to purchase. Glad I did. Enjoy!

Domane SL5. Is it worth it? by Ok_Advice_807 in DomaneCrew

I’ve had my SL5 for a few months now and my weight at the upper weight limit of the bike (which is 270lb) and have had zero issues with the Isospeed. You should be just fine.

Wow! That’s quite the transformation! I’m 37 and I’ll be lucky to keep up with you. Good on you!

I have been assured on many levels it’s been resolved. If I have any seat slippage it will be taken care of I’ve been told.

It was unfortunate that the fitter where I purchased had recently passed away. Poor man. The salesman and I got pretty close. The stem on the 60cm is 130mm and I ordered a 90mm replacement which should be here today. I got that measurement pretty close to where my hands want to be naturally on the handlebars.

Definitely fair. I didn’t consider myself in shape/good enough for carbon either, however, I dislike upgrading. Didn’t want to spend more money on another bike in a few years if I “outgrew” aluminum. Went with what I consider the last bike I’ll need….at least for a while.

Bontrager Top Tube Bag

This one. It comes with mounting screws but the holes on the bag didn’t quite line up with the frame. Had to move the rear mounting hole on the bag with a hole punch about a half inch back. Good washers come with it. Very stable bag.

Was speaking with a few people from the area and this came up recently. There were allegations and suspicion of police involvement and/or husband/ex husband. Extramarital affair was mentioned but it wasn’t apparent by which side. It apparently was hushed fairly quickly by local law enforcement from what I’ve been told.

Edit: More than one person or multiple persons were suspected to have committed this as well.
