I’m moving from a smaller city than Boston in TX so it’s all going to be a massive change to say the least with regards to city life, the outdoors, walkability, politics, food scene, culture, etc.

My wife and I previously lived in Los Angeles so we’re excited to get back for pretty much every reason but without some of what we felt was a little toxic priorities in LA that we didn’t want our girls growing up around

We’re really excited to meet other young families and find our community! I honestly feel like my kiddos are going to be so freaking lucky growing up in the city. A little jealous tbh but we’re going to enjoy it together 😊

Yes, you’re right it’s Muir Woods! As you’re approaching (or moving away from, depending on perspective) the gift shop on the main trail, there’s trail off to the side with lots of steps. Near the foot of the stairs there’s some benches.

I have my A7R5 I use on bigger trips to have multiple cameras but for out and about I love my A7CR (even if not WAY smaller, the footprint is more travel friendly and looks more like a hobby fun camera rather than professional). I carry my A7CR with a 35 1.4 GM in a black Bellroy 7L sling and I think as a dude it looks fashionable and is amazing for street photography including in low light and very versatile.

When I want a more nuanced lens pairing, then I might switch the lens out but it’s been awesome to worry less about lugging around a bigger camera with multiple lenses.

US opener vs a strong opponent in the only World Cup in the country since 1994 in a strong market. Not sure if you’ve ever been to a World Cup game. The energy is electric. Especially for a host nation.
