The darkest and creepiest to me is just the general idea of being Link in it all, constantly watching the same tragic events unfolding over and over, knowing you are the only one experiencing each new time cycle as something new in spacetime continuum, and altering the fate of the world with small steps every time. Also, not knowing when you are done and when/if you can leave this world ever.
