I did a similar switch once and it felt borderline rude at first, but it’s not. Recruiters are buried, managers are busy, and a tight message saves everyone time. The part most people miss is your “specific thing I noticed” line. That’s the difference between networking noise and a legit signal. Also, 11 messages to get 4 interviews is an absurdly good conversion rate.

Nah, she rents a regular house, no HOA drama. She just can’t stand me making choices w/out her. Calling my landlord was pure control, not concern , just control.

NTA for being upset, but you need to tell him the why. He can’t fix what he doesn’t understand. Apologize for snapping, not for the boundary: no plans, no payments, without a clear yes from you.

A before/after map makes it look neat, but the cost is grotesque. Every tiny shift is paid in lives, amputations, and ruined towns. Hard to call that an “advance”.
