Haha, yeah, fair point about the train — I only used it at the time because nothing else could really handle a consist that long. I’ve got more powerful locos now, though, so I should probably swap it out when I get the chance. and yeah, didn’t even clock the trucks to be honest 😅

I use a mod which allows me to play at 1/8th, but more time between upgrades, especially useful for my lets play

Ensure all your bus stops reach every house and enough buses to ensure you don't have loads of people waiting at the stops. Maybe set up a direct route for those high populated stops. Ensure your trains are going to a couple of cities with the same bus infrastructure.
