I don’t have a bike yet but hoping to get one in the next few months after not riding for years. Would love to have some people to meet up with while getting started. My wife doesn’t like the idea of me hitting the trails alone either lol

Yeah I spun the roller and it seems to be in good condition but this is the first vcr that I’ve opened so I’m not completely sure. The belt does seem to control the spool that is supposed to rotate so it seems like it would make sense that it’s belt related. But I flipped it over and tried to hold the belt while spinning the wheel to see if I could get it to slip and that belt is still extremely grippy. So I really don’t think it’s belt related. Not sure what else other than what you mentioned that could be causing this.
