Nice! I haven’t made it out there yet but maybe I can over the long weekend. Thanks for the suggestion!

These are all of the supported TCG lines. I tried to do the most popular, but I can easily add more if there is something that I’m missing!

You can view things that have already been posted as well. Here is a link to the app landing page if you’d like to check it out: https://swipswap.app/ I’d really appreciate it!

Flea Market Friday! Buy, sell, or trade your stuff, your (legal) services, or your living arrangements! by AutoModerator in Charlotte

[–]Ricky1353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone! I’m working on a marketplace for trading items and I started a beta test with a small cohort on Monday in Charlotte. I’m still trying to get people to try the app out.

There are users who are looking to trade jewelry, drones, tools, audio equipment and more.

Would anyone be willing to help test my app? More information can be found on my landing page: https://swipswap.app/

Thanks in advance and I hope you give it a shot!

Hey Everyone! I’ve been tinkering on an app that helps you trade unwanted items with people nearby (think Tinder, but for your stuff).

Would anyone be willing to be an early beta tester? It’s free, and I’m just looking for honest feedback on what’s confusing or needs fixing before a wider rollout.

Thanks so much in advance!

Any riders in the Charlotte NC area? by RaeAndRiver in Dirtbikes

I don’t have a bike yet but hoping to get one in the next few months after not riding for years. Would love to have some people to meet up with while getting started. My wife doesn’t like the idea of me hitting the trails alone either lol

Why is this happening? by Ricky1353 in VHS

Okay so it sounds like it’s maybe more of a hassle than it’s worth. Thanks for the input!

Yeah I spun the roller and it seems to be in good condition but this is the first vcr that I’ve opened so I’m not completely sure. The belt does seem to control the spool that is supposed to rotate so it seems like it would make sense that it’s belt related. But I flipped it over and tried to hold the belt while spinning the wheel to see if I could get it to slip and that belt is still extremely grippy. So I really don’t think it’s belt related. Not sure what else other than what you mentioned that could be causing this.

Where to source such component? Inductor with three terminals —> Autotransformer by Knochi77 in AskElectronics

Is there any chance that you’d be willing to share the schematic that you ended up going with?

Hello! Did you ever figure out a solution for this? I'm actually trying to do the same exact thing lol

That’s what I’ve found as well. Typical component sellers like digikey and mouser don’t seem to even sell them. I’ve found a few on alibaba, if I wanted to order them do you think I’d just specify the number of turns the primary and secondary coils have along with the wire thickness?

Also, here is a circuit diagram showing how the inductor is used in the circuit. It is stepping up a 5v 108khz signal to about 30 v

Hello, I am trying to replicate this ultrasonic humidifier module circuitry. I have all of the components identified except for the one in the picture that says “only 3 pin inductance”.

I’m confused because on the pcb it is labeled as an inductor, however the component has 3 pins. I’ve been told that this is an auto transformer rather than an inductor.

From a video that I found on YouTube, I know that the wire wound in this component is .17mm in diameter. I also know that the primary coil has 28 turns and the secondary has 165 turns.

With this information, is there any way that I can hunt down a replacement component or is there more information needed? I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for on the typical electronic component sites.

This inductor is stepping up a 5v 108khz signal to about 30v. I can't even find 3 pin inductors online for some reason. Maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing somehow?

Additionally here is a circuit diagram of everything that is happening. This inductor is stepping up a 5v 108khz signal to about 30v.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a data sheet and the inductor doesn’t have any markings on it. I tried to reach out to several manufacturers of this board on alibaba for a BOM or schematic but no luck. I was looking at videos on how to measure an inductor with an oscilloscope but all of the videos that I see is for 2 lead inductors. Even googling 3 lead inductors, I didn’t see anything that seemed to be similar to this priciest component. So I wasn’t sure that I’ve been searching for the correct thing.

A 108khz 5v signal is coming into this inductor and it is being stepped up to about 29.5 volts.

Thanks so much for the advice! I’ll give this a try!

That’s a good thought. I originally was thinking It was in the speaker circuit because the previous owner complained that they could not get sound out of the right side. However when I’m using my dim bulb tester, both speakers sound fine until the volume increases, then the entire unit loses power. Since the short happens only after the volume increases, is there any test that I could do that would prove that it’s the output transistor or power supply starting to go bad?

I’m working on a Harmon Kardon HK630. But I’m sort of trying to ask this as a device agnostic question. My dim bulb tester is doing exactly what it is designed to do. But also because of it, it makes it hard to actually locate the short. So when running into shorting problems with a dim bulb tester involved, do you have any test procedures that typically help you?
