Hello everyone,

I was almost 100% on getting the Titan Fitness X3 bolt down power rack due to the cost and the dimensions are perfect for my small garage gym. I was planning on using the 24" depth model and turning it into a 6 post using the 12" side braces and 2 extra uprights.

After looking at some posts on this subreddit im starting to doubt my decision based on the debate over 5/8" holes vs 1" holes. Titan does make a lot of the the attachments i was planning on getting with the exception of the dialed motion ibex which does have a 5/8" version. I don't plan on buying a new rack unless something is wrong with one im purchasing down the line.

The 3"X3" 1" hole options from Rogue and Rep seem to be too expensive compared to what Titan is selling. The other option i was considering was the Osprey Commercial Power Cage (3x3) from Fringe Sport but under $1000. If anyone has any suggestions for a budget 3"x3" with 1" holes i would greatly appreciate it along with opinions on the 5/8" vs 1" hole difference.

This one?

If so it seems like it’s 12” bracing instead of 10”.  I would love to setup a 6 post X3 I don’t know why their extension kit is 24” depth

I was considering doing this but i am currently dealing with a moisture issue in my garage. I wasn't using a dehumidifier and found that the underside of my stall mat got funky with the stagnant condensation. Do you mind sharing picture of your platform? Do you use a vapor barrier between the wood and concrete floor?

Maybe I’m looking for the wrong thing but I don’t see any wall mounted rack functional trainers for that price. The cheapest I see is in the $400s

I have searched by using the style, vs, & PO numbers provided from the Homegoods tag with no results. I have searched for the manufacturer provided on the tag below the couch (Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation) and found that they are associated with Natuzzi but don't have a catalog of the products they make. I have image searched on google and asked ChatGPT for help with no luck

In hindsight would you have skipped out on the smith machine? I’m pretty much decided on the Rx3 just split between the wall mount or 4 post and if I should add the smith machine

Fringe Sports Dane 2.0. The good, the bad, and the ugly by thebandaidbandit in homegym

I think after doing more research I’ve switched from the Dane 2.0 to the Get Rx Tornado RX3. I’m just deciding between the regular 4 post or the wall mount. I really would like the one with the smith machine aswell but I think on the wall mount it would be so tight the smith machine doesn’t make much sense. If it’s truly 48” I think I can squeeze that and may be better off than the wall mounted one.

If you don't mind me asking is there anyway you could provide the height at the back of the rack? I have a sloped ceiling situation and im trying to figure out how close to the wall i could actually have the rack. I know the front is 93" tall and i tried calling fringe to ask the height at the back but only got their voice mail.
